No, this is for applicants who earn to much income, have too many assets or have been denied Medicaid for any other reason. You also don't need to apply for Medicaid to receive the Essential Plan.
What is Included in Essential Plan?
Essential plan includes primary care, specialist and hospitalization coverage for all enrolled. It also includes prescription medication as well as Dental and Vision coverage. Depending on the carrier chosen, you may receive additional benefits such as gym reimbursements and virtual care.
How Do I Estimate My Income?
Income is based off your anticipated Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI). This is your gross income plus non-taxable social security benefits, tax-exempt interest and foreign income.
